NANBANZUKE is a typical Japanese fish dish. It is often prepare using a small fish or chicken. NANBAN is a old word meaning Europeans (especially from Portugal or Spain). It is said that this dish came from south Europe in 16th century.

How to make NANBANZUKE (fried fish marinated in a spicy sauce)

- Remove the internal organs of the fish. Rinse the fish with water.

- Slice onions and carrots into strips. Slice hot pepper. Mix them in a bowl with MAGICAL SWEET VINEGAR SOY SAUCE and water.

- Remove excess water from the fishes and coat with starch. Deep-fry them in the oil until golden brown.

- After draining oil, put fried fishes into the bowl with vegetable and sauce.
You can use chicken or pork instead of fish.
